By the year 2000, WITCHTRAP was contacted by the label Malignant Productions from Cali - Colombia, who soon released the "Witching Metal" vinyl MLP as a limited edition of 500 copies. At this time, new member "Darkmoon" entered the band and recorded the bass session. In 2001, another label from Cali - Colombia, Hell Attacks Productions signed with WITCHTRAP to release the "Sorceress Bitch" album on CD the following year. In late 2002 Darkmoon left the band and soon after a new bass player, Edison "Enforcer" joined. Enforcer fit very well in the band with his musical level and influences.
In 2004, a South American compilation called "Ataque demoniáco Vol. 1." under the label Dark Desires Productions featured the track "Desecration of Evil" taken from the "Turn In Your Graves" demo (mentioned above). The same year, French label Ordealis Records licensed the "Sorceress Bitch" album from Hell Attacks Productions for a vinyl LP release.
In 2005, the band members formed their own label, Dirty Sound Records with which they hope to manage their own releases, exploit their talent and avoid misunderstandings with other labels in order to obtain the desired quality related to the bands productions. Dirty Sound Records bought the copyright of the "Witching Metal" MLP from its original co-owners Malignant Productions and NNYDA; and re-released it as a CD with an excellent layout and sound quality.
In addition, the North American label "Utterly Somber Creations" licensed the "Sorceress Bitch" album from "Hell Attacks Prod", releasing it on Picture Disc and including the storming and outstanding bonus track "Metal Mania" (courtesy of Dirty Sound Records), now with professional sound. This same year, Japanese label Obliteration Records contacted the band to release their two demo tapes on CD with a total of 22 tracks featuring the song "Metal Mania" taken from the "To Meet the Storm" compilation. This re-release was out on November 1, 2005 and was pretty useful to promote WITCHTRAP more in the underground metal world.
By 2006 things didn't stop, German label Death Strike Records decided to feature the band on its four-way split 7" vinyl compilation "BLITZKRIEG" # 2. Pretty well known in underground metal, this compilation featured the song "The Maniac" taken from the first professional release of WITCHTRAP. In July of this same year, WITCHTRAP released their second full length album "No Anesthesia" on CD under their own label Dirty Sound Records. The mix, mastering and production process of "No Anesthesia" took about 6 months. The sound and layout results left the band members very satisfied and up until now the demand of this new album has been really promising. Dirty Sound Records soon contracted a license deal to North American label Hells Headbangers Records for an additional CD pressing of "No Anesthesia" in December of 2006. A Vinyl LP and Picture Disc of "No Anesthesia" will also be released on Hells Headbangers in early 2007.
Currently the band is working on new projects to keep its productive continuity and up until now, WITCHTRAP has not been outside of Colombia.
